Licensing Scheme
IPnote Enterprise Edition is licensed based off connections to the server.
The IPnote server only allows a specified number of connections based on what the license is good for.
Example: If you buy a 50 user license, the server will only allow 50 concurrent client connections to that server.
Requesting a license key:
When you first install IPnote Enterprise Server, it will run with a 15-day trial key.
1) After Install of IPnote server, browse to the Install directory. By default IPnote is installed in
C:Program FilesIPnote EnterpriseServer
Locate register.exe and double click on it.
This will generate a Serial Number.
2) Copy and paste the serial number into an email addressed To: licenses@alkasis.com
Format of email needs to be like this:
TO: licenses@alkasis.com
Subject: IPnote Enterprise Key (if you have purchased)
Body: <serial number from above>
First Name Last Name
Company Name (optional)
Alkasis will generate a license key based off this info.
Alkasis will then send you this license key.
Once you receive the email with the license key, copy the key into your server install directory and restart IPnote Server.
*Trials are valid for 15 days.
